Klook debuts its first Raya-themed video campaign, “A Different R A Y A” to share with Malaysians that the Raya spirit lives on despite embracing new normal this year. The video narrates a group of Klook employees, business partners and public members’ thoughts on the things they are still grateful for and their plans to celebrate with family members and friends virtually this Raya.
The video also places the limelight on Klook’s business partners, Sharifah Noor Ridzuan, Co-Founder of Sea Voice Divers and Nazri Jameson, Owner and Co-Founder of Beard Brothers BBQ as they shared their respective stories. Due to the interstate travel ban under the Movement Control Order (MCO), Sharifah will be celebrating Raya with her husband and child in Terengganu, where her diving centre is based, instead of reuniting with her mom back in her hometown. Meanwhile, Nazri recognised the importance of being more appreciative towards the people in his life. With that, Nazri decided to give himself and his employees a short break from work during the Raya week to spend quality time with family.
Emily Tan, Marketing Lead of Klook Malaysia shared, “We realized that even though Aidilfitri celebrations will look different this year, it is heartwarming to hear from our beloved colleagues, business partners and Klook users on the various ways that they will keep the Raya spirit alive. Far apart but together at heart – that was the message of positivity and gratitude that we want to share with Malaysians through our first Raya-themed video. We are inspired and moved by these stories, and I’m happy to share that Klook will also be unveiling initiatives to enable friends and family to stay connected no matter where they are, through our home-based experiences. On behalf of Klook, I would like to wish our Muslim friends Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Maaf Zahir dan Batin.”
