Esports Takes Over Local Stores Island-Wide By Storm

Gaming enthusiasts can now enjoy special discounts at London Fat Duck, Tuk Tuk Cha, Suki-Ya and more

EMERGE Esports, Singapore-based professional gaming and talent management agency, rolls out the “Kingsmen Takeover” campaign to offer gamers attractive discounts. With competitive esports events now back in full swing action, EMERGE Esports links up with popular F&B outlets like London Fat Duck, Tuk Tuk Cha, Partea and Suki-Ya to bring sweet deals for fans. From gaming chair manufacturer, Royale Ergonomics to non-endemic labels Gymmboxx, Duoria and KJ Optometrists, enjoy special discounted deals up to 20% off from now up until May 10 2021.

To redeem the offer, gamers and esports fans will have to follow Kingsmen’s Instagram handle (@kingsmen.kgm) and show the proof of social media following at Point of Purchase. Customised promotional cards and player standees can be found at more than 30 outlets across eight participating brands island wide.

Exclusive merchandise and in-game items up for grab

To commemorate Kingsmen’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) team’s participation in the upcoming MPL Singapore, the athletes are hosting special giveaways throughout the campaign period on the team’s social media handle. The team will be hosting engaging contests to reward their supporters with exclusive merchandise and MLBB diamonds.

Robert “Oh Deer Bambi” Boon, the captain of Kingsmen MLBB team shares, “We would like to take this opportunity to engage and give back to those who have supported us since day one. We also look forward to reaching more MLBB fans in Singapore and being the driving force that encourages them to pursue their passion for gaming. It’s exciting to see more and more brands reaching out to the esports community, and we are thrilled to be the bridge between the merchants and the community”.

Keeping up with the esports community

The local and regional esports industry has seen great traction in the past few years, in terms of viewership and engagement. The ever-growing community and its vibrancy has weaved in countless mainstream brands, who are looking to leverage on the growth.

Theodore Lim, General Manager of Tuk Tuk Cha says, “We are encouraged to see more and more young talents pursue esports beyond a hobby. This paves the way for other gaming enthusiasts to step into the playing field and persevere for their passion. Being a brand that values passion, we are excited to be part of this initiative to motivate and bring together the local esports community. We look forward to watching the Kingsmen team and the community reach greater heights”.

The Kingsmen team, which is managed by EMERGE Esports, was originally formed in November 2020. Rearing the victory crown for the recent PVP Esports Open Championship, the team is going against top teams and veterans in the scene to be the first-ever MPL Singapore Champion.
