Microsoft’s tools have provided many workplaces with great flexibility, transforming the way we work, share and collaborate with one another, which in turn can greatly affect each organization’s security profile.

One of the things Microsoft has received a lot of questions about is the security and privacy of remote work and distance learning technologies. Jared Spataro, Corporate Vice President for Microsoft 365 shared his blog about Privacy and Security in Microsoft Teams for IT Professionals to ensure its customers are well informed.

In another blog, Jared reiterates the company’s commitment to privacy and security in Microsoft Teams and focuses on the varied privacy and security controls that manage who participates in meetings and who has access to meeting information.

Increasingly, organizations have been turning to Zero Trust security framework to better support remote work and manage risk. Microsoft’s Zero Trust Assessment tool helps them assess their readiness across identities, devices, apps, infrastructure, network and data, and then provide go-dos and deployment guidance to help reach key milestones. More details are on this blog by Nupur Goyal, Senior Product Marketing Manager, Microsoft Security.
